Two Yavapai County Booking Facilities
YCSO operates two detention centers. Camp Verde Detention Center is at 2830 N. Commonwealth Drive, Suite 105, Camp Verde, and its phone is 928-567-7734. Prescott Detention Center is at 1200 Prescott Lakes Parkway, Prescott, with the sheriff's main number at 928-771-3260. A city arrest can lead to either county facility, so the police report location and the booking location may differ.
This two-site system reflects Yavapai County's broad geography. Yavapai County budget material reported 7,090 total bookings in 2022 and an average daily population of 532. That scale makes the current inmate search useful, but also explains why a live roster is only a snapshot. A person can be released, transferred, or booked under incomplete identifying information.

Names, dates of birth, and incident details also help staff locate a request. Protected data may be redacted before release.

The Yavapai County report stays with the agency that investigated the incident. A Prescott Police arrest report routes through Prescott Police or the City of Prescott public-records channel. Prescott Valley Police records route through the town's written request policy and JustFOIA. Chino Valley Police provides a Public Records and Reproduction Request form with paper, electronic, picture, and body-camera options. A county jail booking does not transfer ownership of a city or state incident report to YCSO.
Booking Logs and Recent Arrests
Yavapai County does not publish an arrest gallery. YCSO's official online inmate search is the public current-custody route, and it begins with a last name. A result can expose custody and booking details that the system makes public, such as booking date, facility, charges, bond, or release information. The timestamp should always be read with the result.
Absence proves little about past Yavapai County arrests. The person may have been released, transferred, never booked into YCSO custody, or recorded under data that does not match the query. Call the detention line for a current question. For a historic booking, request the jail booking or arrest report through YCSO records, then check the court docket for any filed case.

Yavapai Booking Records Cost Zero
YCSO's published non-commercial fee schedule lists incident reports, jail booking reports, arrest reports, jail medical reports, and jail booking photos at $0 for print, email, or mail delivery. Other reports can cost $8 for the first ten pages and $0.50 for each added page. Audio, video, digital media, and statistical reports have separate charges.

Arrests Are Not Convictions
An arrest records a seizure or citation based on probable cause or a warrant. It is not a guilty finding. A conviction exists only after a guilty plea, verdict, or qualifying adjudication in court. Yavapai County charges can be declined, dismissed, amended, or end in acquittal. Booking and case traces can still remain unless access is restricted by a sealing order or another rule.

DPS and Yavapai Arrest Records
Arizona DPS holds its own trooper reports and manages the Central State Repository. Its records-request channel covers DPS offense, incident, arrest, collision, citation, radio, and video records. DPS does not retain local Yavapai County sheriff or city reports merely because the event occurred in Arizona. Those must be requested from YCSO or the city department.

Crash reports have a separate path. YCSO directs reports for crashes on or after March 1, 2010 to the official LexisNexis BuyCrash channel.
